Which machines do we retrofit?
Milling machines, lathes, machining centres with tool changer, multi-spindle and multi-channel machines and special machines. The precondition is a mechanically sound machine; control, drives and electrics we renew completely.
What does a complete retrofit include?
Planning and schematic, a new control with linuxcncMulti and the operator panel mchmi, servo drives and motors, measuring systems, control cabinet and safety technology, wiring, commissioning with axis optimisation, documentation and training of your operators.
What does linuxcncMulti bring compared with the old control?
Multi-channel machining, 5-axis transformations, a path planner with look-ahead, tool management with tool life monitoring, process monitoring with tool break detection and an operator panel in the style of SINUMERIK Operate – on an open basis without being tied to a control manufacturer. How does a project run?
A visit or your documents (schematic, photos, machine data), a fixed-price quotation, the conversion at your site or in our workshop, commissioning and acceptance with your parts. Registered customers can also hand in and follow their project online in the customer portal.
Is there support after the conversion?
Yes: remote support by remote access, bookable online by the hour or as a yearly package, updates of the Enterprise edition, telephone support and visits on site. Spare parts such as servo drives and Mesa cards are in the shop.
Can I try linuxcncMulti first?
Yes. After the free registration you start a test instance in the customer portal and use the control in your browser; the Community edition is available for download there as well.
